I can’t believe how good the food was here… I’m speechless!!! The bill arrived and they’d missed off the wine… but there was no way we were not paying for the whole experience! Stunning food, great service and at the age of 59 to find the best food you’ve eaten… well done!

Stopped off for a coffee with a group of people. Lovely warm open fire to greet us on a cold day. Landlord was wonderful and welcoming.
A 'must return to' place ... they do Tapas on a Sunday lunchtime so I'm going to plan a visit.

We ate there last Sunday for the spanish tapas. The food was outstanding and the staff so friendly. We will definitely be going back both to try the Thai menu and to enjoy the tapas again!!

The food is incredible. I especially love the sweetcorn fritters! Sergio is a great host and Ananta makes the most delicious fresh food. Very accommodating with dietary requirements

Ananta is one of our local pubs/restaurant and is truly a hidden gem. Definitely recommend the place if you're after some authentic Thai food with a twist of Spainsh taste but be prepared to wait.
Sergio and the other staff are very welcoming. Ananta is an excellent chef. Every time we eat in there we are never disappointed. The flavours are fresh and your senses are completely blown with how tasty each dish is.
Definitely try food of their mains board and highly recommended.
If you don't want to wait then it's best to give Sergio a heads up before you arrive. Ananta does all the cooking from scratch which takes a little longer than any other franchised restaurant where food is mass cooked and frozen. You'll definitely notice the difference in the taste.
We love visiting this place, old countryside, rustic vibes. You'll not be disappointed.

Old pub with a lovely snug bar, decent ales and superb Thai food.
Sergio is an excellent landlord with a great sense of humour and work ethic. His wife, Ananta is the Thai chef producing superb dishes with a beaming smile. Absolutely quintessential thatched English pub with a twist.

I had the Tom Ka soup which I haven’t had before and it was absolutely delicious, the flavours were so creamy yet spicy, I could eat nothing but that for the rest of my
Life.
They also had a great selection of specials, I went for the sea bass curry with some stir fry noodles on the side and again it was very tasty indeed. Admittedly, I was incredibly filled up with food and not a bad price either!
I think next time I will try the spring rolls, the dumplings and also a Thai green curry. Thank you so much 🙏😌

Such a wonderful evening spent here. The food was freshly prepared per order and was delicious. The owner Sergio couldn't have been more welcoming! We were staying at a local hotel and had walked to the restaurant. Sergio insisted that he drop us back to our hotel after dinner. Such a kind gentlemen. Would absolutely recommend this place for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Absolutely a hidden gem, we were in the area for the day and needed to find somewhere for food in the late evening. A quick search and the Ananta Thai pub sounded just want we were looking for. We arrived after 9pm and were unsure if the kitchen would be open but the gentleman checked and said all was fine and seated us in the dining area. The building is very charming but there is not much room for tables.
The menu is great and you are able to choose the meat option for the curries and noodle dishes.
The staff are very friendly and attentive taking the orders nice a quickly.
When the food arrived the dishes were of a good portion and we shared two main dishes between us.
The Thai curry was delicious and rich we also enjoyed the Pad Thai.
Would highly recommend!

I just returned from a dinner this evening that I booked for 6 o clock for two where we had starters and mains. It took over one hour to recieve our starters and another 45 minutes for our mains. The dinner overall took 2 hours for what was a very tasty but standard Thai meal. We were informed that a health inspector had conducted a review that evening and that is what caused the delay, but the two hour timeframe did not feel justified and it appears from other reviews that the waiting time is not a one off. We recieved one free drink each and prawn crackers free of charge, but were still charged service charge in the 85 pound bill. Another gentleman next to us had also been waiting a significant time for his food too (there was only 3 of us in the restaurant up until 7/7.30). The food was very nice and I commend the chef, but I unfortunately will not be returning and would not recommend.

We booked a table for 5 with one of our party in a wheel chair last Saturday. However nothing was too much trouble for the host and helped us in to our seats. The food was unbelievable and really tasty - definitely the best Thai I have ever had. Excellent value and we will surely be back. And yes freshly made and good food does take time to prepare cook and serve and it was well worth the wait. Thank-you for a really lovely evening.

Where do I even start! This place is an absolute little gem, the food is quite simply the best Thai food you will ever experience this side of Thailand. Everything is fresh with flavours that are just bursting, what an experience for your taste buds and endorphins. Genuine authentic Thai food that is good enough for royalty. Me and my wife ordered far too much, however we finished everything we ordered from the amazing starters, through to the incredible mains. Our eyes are definitely bigger than our greedy bellies but my goodness it was worth it. Sergio is a great host and his wife is most definitely an extremely talented chef! Purely and truly incredible. Thank you, we will be back very soon 😊

Consistently brilliant every time I eat there I always order the same thing the special mixed starter followed by venison with green curry. Can't recommend enough. Great service too Sergio is always warm and friendly
